What a GREAT website!!!
Thank you, Jaybird! You will have to come with me to review some restaurants!
Hey Christy,
Great to meet you at the Bash yesterday! Very nice site and lots of mouth-watering info. I think visiting here should not be done on an empty stomach — I’m huuuuungry!
Thanks, Rachel! Isn’t the Austin Food Bloggers group great? Hope to see you at another event soon!
Hey Christy!
Not sure if we will make it to the BBQ cookoff, we have 2 weekends to finish remodeling the bathroom before our friends from Germany arrive…please send me your email to claudia.alarcon@sbcglobal.net so I can send you the Evite for Will’s bday party!
OMG! I am sitting here reading your amazing blog and regretting never meeting you at the blogger bash. I took one of your tubs home of the “bacon pecan toffee” to share with my house full of SXSW guests that come every year from California. We actually were trying to figure out how we make this toffee last all weekend. It was absolutely delicious! I hope when I do more searching on your blog I can find the recipe, (they all wanted it) What a lovely treat, it was one of my highlights at the blogger bash. SO a big thank you to your sweet retreat for my guests. I look forward to following your blog.
Thanks, Kristina! Yes, the recipe is indeed posted, enjoy!

+1
Christy, so glad you joined the epicure’s delight meetup group, it led me to your blog. I recently moved here (native Kansan, lived many years in the PNW) and I sorely miss my group of foodies. Every Friday we had something that was similar to your Tuesday night dinners, we called it ‘happy friday’ or more formally: The Soiree. Every week almost without fail, it involved food + wine + conversation and damn I miss it. Did I say that already?? I hope to meet you soon!
Thanks Margaret! And welcome to Austin. There are a ton of foodie activities around here and I am sure you will find a group of like minded souls. Hope to meet you soon!
HI there christy! great site! I’m quite honored to have your blog on my blogroll! Wish you can come over to New York and we’ll show you around some good foodies for you to review, and we’ll join you of course! Feel free to browse around our humble site if you wish…=D have a great day!
Thank you so much for adding me to the blog roll! I love a foodie road trip, so I will definitley hit you up if I am ever your way!
